Sat., Sept. 28, Noon-4pm CT, at Eykamp Scout Center, 3501 E. Lloyd Expressway, Evansville, with title sponsor being D-Patrick Ford. Free & open to the public (although a $10 donation is suggested for test drives or ride-alongs).
Auto dealers will bring various new EVs for adult attendees to test drive. Plus EV owners will have their vehicles participating in the cruise-in portion, including Vanderburgh County Sheriff Office's new Tesla cruiser. And there will be e-bikes, e-carts and battery-operated lawn & garden equipment to check out, along with companies tabling for energy-efficient appliances.
Entertainment for the whole family includes: robotics and paper-making demonstrations, interactive storytelling, music bands, vendors, food trucks, local Celebrity Drivers (Calbert Cheaney, Ange Humphrey, Roger Kalia, Phil Smith, Daniela Vidal, Greg Wathen, Linda White, Eric Xiao) to lead off the day’s test drives, kids’ activities, an inflatable 50' obstacle course, and the nearby Master Gardeners Display Garden.
Please join Tri-State Creation Care at EVs 4 EVVerybody, as it promotes good stewardship of this Earth to ensure a sustainable and thriving planet for our children & grandchildren.
